The 2008 Spring Fling fundraiser this past Saturday at Paul Brown Stadium scored a major touchdown! Auctioneer Jonas Karp worked the crowd into an energetic frenzy of friendly competition and battling orange helmets. It was an entertaining evening of good music, great company, and fond new memories in the making for our Mercy community. Many months of hard work and volunteerism turned into a super success for our wonderful school.For those of you who missed out on the sign-up party sheets because you were too busy in a bid war, were distracted elsewhere or just plain couldn’t make it to the event; you’re in luck!
We’re offering you a second chance to join in the fun and support our wonderful school. If you don’t know how sign-up parties work, it’s quite simple, really. They are awesome parties that someone else throws and you invite yourself to attend (for a small fee which goes to Mercy). All the fun, none of the work! There are also a few other items you can still get your hands on.
So read away, and send in those absentee bid sheets. Then give yourself a big pat on the back. It is because of each and every one of you that Mercy is without a doubt a most incredible place!

How it Works
It’s a simple system. Items fall into two categories. There is a handful of great items, and a selection of sign up parties.
Please use the absentee bid form. Choose what you want, and use the form to buy it. On the items you may offer a bid of any size, even one that is under the value (if you dare…). On the parties, the listed price is the set price. Bids for less will not be accepted for parties. As most have only a few places left, act now!
You may pay by check or credit card. Bids will be processed in the order received, so if there’s something you really want, better get your skates on.
All bids must be received by Thursday, May 1, 2008.
If your bid is not successful, a) we will be very sad for you, because there are some cool opportunities; and b) your check will be returned or your credit card will not be charged.
